Waiting for rates to fall is a reasonable instinct, but it comes with trade-offs that are easy to underweight:
A common strategy is to buy when you're financially ready and the home is right, locking in today's price, and revisit refinancing later if rates meaningfully improve. Timing the market perfectly on either side is difficult even for professionals — the more reliable question is usually "am I ready?" rather than "where are rates headed?"
